ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION: Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the B.Sc., Degree course in Nursing (Basic) should have passed the qualifying examinations (Academic Stream) after a period of 12 years of study with the following subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Botany and Zoology. Every candidate before admission to the course shall submit to the Principal of the institution a certificate of medical fitness from an authorized medical officer that the candidate is physically fit to undergo the academic course. The minimum educational requirements shall be passing of:
Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination (12 years course) (Or)
Senior School Certificate Examination (10+2), pre-degree Examinations (10+2) (Or)
Any other equivalent examination recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.
AGE LIMIT FOR ADMISSION: The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
ELIGIBILITY: Candidate should have passed in the subjects PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) and English Individually and must have obtained a minimum of 45% Marks taken together in PCB at the qualifying examination i.e. (10+2). The candidates belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes, the marks obtained in PCB taken together in the qualifying examination are 40% instead of 45% as stated above. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc (N). Student shall be medically fit.
